"A feeling, a moment, a bursting of bubbles..."

I am having a serious Darren Hayes day. Okay, week. Month. Life. Shut up, I'm not obsessed.
First, there's his new music video, which I have been watching repeatedly for roughly since I first found out about it. When I can't actually watch it, I play it in my head. :P I don't understand the video, it's a little trippy, but I adore it anyways.

He also is on the new A&F CD with his song (from his upcoming album) "Step Into the Light". My manager laughed at me when I got all excited over the song, cause I was telling her about it (she'd missed it on her break) and she said something along the lines of "I'll know which song it is because I'll just watch you have a seizure." Yeah, I was that excited.

I've now worked at the Dark Lady three times. It needs to publicize its dancers a lot more, which is something we (the dancers) are going to begin working on immediately. I only have a few weeks left of my summer, and I'd like to have the club be much more profitable by the time I come back in the winter and next summer, y'know?
Still, it's a suuuuper fun place to work, and that's nice. :)

Thursday's Pretty Person...

Anyways, today, as our first pretty person of 2007, I'm giving you quite the Rascal, so you better watch out. ;-)

Yeah, this week we have the hottastical porn star Johnny Hazzard!!
I've heard some (insane) people, for a strange reason I cannot fathom, say he's not hot. I don't get it. Maybe they don't like his hot tatoos, or the glamorous jewelry he wears, or possibly his entrancing eyes, or the fact that he is one of those rare guys who pull off scruff in an incredibly hot way, or his cute smile...

He's got a unique style that, while I don't think anyone else would ever attempt it, is gorgeous on him and gives him a certain glamour (that's right, I spelled it the British way...suck on that, Fergie. :-P). Glamour, along with confidence, are a total turn on. Someone who is only mediocre in their hottness will jump to a complete 10 if they are glamorous enough. And Johnny Hazzard is confident, glamorous, *and* hot so that puts him at...what, a 30 out of 10? Yeah, I thought so.

Usually I go for blue eyes and green eyes more than other color eyes but Johnny's hazel eyes are so enticing and entrancing that they are totally irresistable. When you could get lost in someone's eyes for hours when you're looking at their photo on a computer screen, you know they got lucky when they dove into the gene pool.


He wears plenty of rings, along with his hottttt tattoos. I like rings, and I think it's awesome that he wears so many of them. And hot. And sexy. And glamorous (like I already said about him). Fashion wise, this man can do basically no wrong in my eyes. Or at least, hasn't yet to my knowledge (except for his admitted one in his interview on ChicagoPride).
So now some of you are probably wondering what he's done. What, other than his glamour that I keep going on about and his obvious sexiness, do I find so appealing about this man?
Well, you should know by now that as shallow as I happen to be, I always try to appeal to people who might actually care about personality and accomplishments. And Hazzard? He certainly should appeal to those people as well!
He's a well-established porn star. He's a Rascal Video Exclusive (which means, I gather, that he works for Chi Chi LaRue like all of the time, and that's pretty fabulous) and he's done a multitude of videos (some of which, like Wrong Side of the Tracks, even have plot! Well, I think it does, I haven't ever had a chance to see it...) He also dances at clubs sometimes, which I think is cool because it sort of makes us kindred spirits in that way. (Of course, lots of porn stars do that...Jonathon Vargas does, for instance). He also writes music reviews on his blog sometimes, which the movie reviewer in me (left over from my days on my high school paper) thinks is pretty awesome.

His winning personality shines through on his eloquent and cleverly titled blog Hazzard Ahead. It also has what I think might be one of the most clever pictures involving the Empire State Building ever on it. Great, great, great personality and a witty sense of humor? Totally increases his hottness factor even more.

Aside from that, he has two videos of himself dancing on YouTube. One of these videos has already appeared on my blog, and the other is kind of him goofing around, but it's really cool. Then he published another video: his singing debut. And I love it:

Another perk to Mister Hazzard? He's lives in Massachusetts, which may speak ill of his driving skills but speaks well of his taste (even if it is in Provincetown...granted, that is a prejudice left over from a childhood trauma nine years ago, it might be time to move on :-P). If only he came a little south and lived in Providence instead, y'know? Ah well, you win some, you lose some, and some of them like Cape Cod.

One of our other favorites on this blog, Pete Ross, also appears in Wrong Side of the Tracks. Hazzard has also worked with Jason Ridge. Good taste? Mmhmm, I think so.

In other, personalish news, with the beginning of 2007 we can begin counting down to the movie I was an extra in this summer. Normal Adolescent Behavior should be coming out soon, so keep your eyes and ears peeled. I was assured that at least the back of my head would be in it, how exciting is that?

I've got opening night tonight. I don't think the tech stuff is ready so I'm a little bit scurred! But, hey, I'm sure it will all turn out fine.

I pretty much love this video -- good music, hot porn star (yay Johnny Hazzard) dancing! And he's wearing clothes -- and I definitely think Johnny Hazzard is hottest when clothed. Could just be me.
