Honey, honey, how you thrill me, ahuh!

Oh my, what a weekend we've had!

So, Wednesday night was our big event and it was FABULOUS. Lots of people came, some of whom I haven't seen in ages! Awesome Kong and Roxxi were amazing and SO MUCH FUN!

And then, at two in the morning, the club closed and Chris and I began our drive to Rhode Island. We arrived at my parent's house at 8:15 am and got in an hour nap, got ready and then the family began to arrive for Thanksgiving dinner. We ate that then sped off to his family's Thanksgiving, then returned to my parents house to rest and sleep.

Friday we went out in Providence, figuring we would go up early, leave early, and then get a head start on Saturday's drive. The plan started well, but we didn't leave the clubs til 1:00 am and then we decided we were hungry and we stopped at Bickford's. And we got home at about 3:30 am and slept til 11:00 am -- which was when we planned to leave -- and then began our drive at noon.

We were home by about 6:00 pm. We ate, showered, and got ready to go out. We went down to DC and hit up BeBar where two of my friends were having a birthday, then we went to Town because Chris' friend was there. We headed back fairly early by DC standards, slept, and then this week began.

Here's the thing about this week: my senior project has to be done by the end of it. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!

I could get used to you

Soooo, someone had the best weekend ever and there's a really good chance that it was me. Okay, actually, straight up, it was me.

See, it was Alphonso's birthday this weekend so of course I had to figure out how to get there. After XS on Thursday, which was much fun as usual, I went home and tried to figure out how to get to DC as soon as possible. I had had a ride initially, but it fell through. Y'know, it happens.

Then Friday, I banged out eleven pages of the script for that TV show I talked about before. No chance of it being produced in sight, but let me tell you....so far, it's good. And it keeps getting better, in my head anyways.

That night, Cody picked me up and we headed to Towson. Stuff happened, we almost didn't go to Town, but I joined Jeffy, Josh, and Sam on their way down. And, as the death defying ride continued, we discovered I could have gone with a much saner driver and Brendan was still coming down. Oh well. :P
(I still luv you Jeffy, I just don't want to ride with you ever again. :P)

So once we finally made it to Town, that was a blast. Tons of people, new and old, to hang out with. All the dancers I know and love were there. And Dennis -- oh, I felt so bad although everyone kind of got a kick out of this -- hurt himself so he and I both had slings on our left arms. People took pictures of us with out slings. When I'm famous, that's going to end up in a tabloid somewhere, I know it. :P
I reintroduced myself to Simon, which became kind of an inside joke for the weekend. Oh, inside jokes...how you make me laugh -- but quietly, to myself so other people don't think I'm skitzo.

After Town was a party at Alphonso's that ended up lasting until about 6:30 am. It was a total blast and I met some amazing people there. I also got hit on a lot, which was unfortunate because -- as you ought to know by now if you've been reading this blog for a while -- I've got very mixed feelings about being hit on and I think sex with people you don't know is typically extremely ugh. When everyone had finally left, and everything was cleaned up without the birthday boy having to do anything, Allie and I went to bed. I was totally exhausted.

We woke up super late on Saturday and went to eat at this great little restaurant. I ordered Crab Cakes Benedict, and although I can assure you there were no crabs harmed in the making of my meal (which may have been a mistake, I don't know) it was delicious!

Saturday night was a party at Alphonso's. Tons of people were there. It was fantastic. Some of them were people I'd already met (like Simon, who reintroduced himself to me :P) but a lot of them were new. About the time people were heading off to various clubs -- the party was kind of in shifts -- I headed off to a club called the Rock and Roll Hotel with some of my new friends, Ryan, Shawn, Aaron, Drew, and Michael -- some of my favorites of the whole weekend. When we were there we also met JR who is cool as shit. A lot of the music was new to me, Baltimore House, and I have to say I LOOOOOOVED IT!! It was a total blast, and I can't wait to hang out with all those boys again. It was by far better than the last time I ran off to hang out with people I'd just met.
Ryan and Shawn also introduced me to this:

The most hysterical thing ever.

So we got back to Alphonso's around 3 am and the party was still going strong, although not for much longer. Met some more people, talked to some people I had already met, had a blast. Passed out.

Sunday, Alphonso and I cleaned up, went out to a place called The Diner for breakfast, and stayed in and watched movies. The weather was gross, but I finally got the chance to see I Am Legend and got the chance to pass up seeing Babel, which officially grossed me out. A lot.

This morning, I took the train up from DC to Philly and then back to central PA. Now, Katie and I are working on tying up the loose ends here and heading home for the summer. Thursday we're going to NYC for the day and I'm really hoping I'll still manage an appearance at XS. Friday I should be at Town one final time. Saturday is Katie's graduation ceremony, and then Sunday morning -- bright and early because with my whole elbow thing this is going to be a long a hellish road trip -- I will go home to Rhode Island.
...and from there...well, you'll just have to find out. ;) Let's just say this summer will be gooood, especially since I'm starting to get back some of that old spark and spontaneity that I seemed to have lost.

"You've got so much to do and only so many hours in a day..."

So my weekend, which was crazy as per usual, began early. It began on Thursday night, and what an adventure it was!

You see, Brendan, Cody, Jason, and Josh were planning on visiting Club Apex in Washington D.C. I had not planned on going with, because of Friday's road trip back to Rhode Island.
But I ended up having a very frustrating day on Thursday and I decided that, since every plan I'd set out for that day had been screwed up and twisted in a way that was not fun...I was going to screw up one of my plans in a fun way. And I was going to be spontaneous.

So, 7:30 Thursday night, not a thing packed for the return to RI, I jumped into Cody's red convertible (not as hot as it sounds, trust me. :P) and we left for York. We picked up Josh, and flew down the roads to Maryland to meet up with Brendan. We piled into Brendan's sleek and silver BMW series five (which is plenty hotter than it sounds) and headed down to D.C. where we going to meet up with Jason -- and Chris, who dances with me on weekends!
We went to Soho, which was right near the club, and got food and coffee. I myself got a White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake which is pretty much heavenly/orgasmic. Not even kidding, try it some time.
So, then we went to Club Apex. I made some new friends -- three. Two of whom I look forward to seeing next time we go down to Apex. Cody also took a video on his camera...if you look closely, you can see me occassionally when the light is right. I was dancing right in front of him, a little to the right, though sometimes I'm definitely dead center in front of the camera. Thankfully, Cody is taller than me so you can still see stuff. :P
(The picture is of Josh and I.)

Now, I really can't tell you what the point of taking videos inside a club is because you can't see anything...but hey, since it's there, I figured I might as well post it! :P

We got back from D.C. at six in the morning. I set my alarm for 10:30, packed in an hour (I'm discovering now I didn't bring enough clothes that I like to wear out...oh well. I'll do a lot of laundry. :P), slept til 11:30, threw my stuff in the car, got Meghan, said my good-byes....
And then by 12:30 we were off. I drove for a while, we switched when we got to New Jersey. She drove til Connecticutt, and then I drove the rest of the way. We got to my house at around 7:30 that night. Pretty good, since it's an 8 hour train ride and we'd had to brave rush hour near New Haven.

So, I powernapped -- exhausted, and then I was off. I'd gotten a spontaneous invite (well, okay, he sent out a myspace bulletin asking if anyone wanted to go with him) to a party his friends were having. So, I went and met Scott in Providence.
...and I drank more than I should have.
And I think I annoyed Scott. Which, well, I guess he doesn't like me drunk. Oh well, it's not like it happens with any frequency.
But...I made some new friends!

I left there at about 5, got home at 5:30, and slept. Then I woke up and proceeded to get ready for a Christmas party my friends Big Bill, Little Bill, and Chris were hosting. Even though I ended up two hours late (thanks to my mom :P), it was a great time. And, following the theme for the weekend, I made new friends! Most importantly though, I caught up with old ones. And then I stayed to help clean up, and then I went and found out that no matter whether or not where I parked was legal...I didn't get a ticket. :P

Today was interesting because an old friend of my parents came by. You see, my brother and my existence hinged entirely on this person's behavior when he was sixteen. My parents spent a year raising him in his mother's stead.
Apparently, he's also gay and has been with his partner for 14 years. How impressive and inspiring is that? It does happen! :D
