He's baaaaaaaaaack!!!
Last time I posted, I might've fibbed. Chris and I were about to head on a trip to Ohio, where we surprised Katie (and Kat, no less!) To help with the surprise, I posted about how nothing was going on and how dull my life was.
And you all believed that?????? God, it's like you don't know me at all. :P
Anyhow, so we went to Ohio with his mother to visit his family and to see Katie and Kat. On the trip, he asked me to stop go go dancing -- and, yes, I have. Color me whipped, I guess. We also began to set up the ways we would stay in touch while I was out here -- World of Warcraft accounts (yesss, we're geeks, try not to be too ashamed of me). He also gave me a webcam. And of course, we have phones.
Anyways, we got back and immediately I began to prepare for my return to Pennsylvania for school -- which was merely days away. My Aunt Susan and Uncle Robert also came to RI for a visit in the same few days. I saw them one day, which was a day spent with Chris as well -- and thne I was off.
I got pulled over on my way to PA in New Jersey. I won't go into too much detail, but I owe $240 dollars for my speeding ticket. And -- strangely enough -- my financial situation isn't terrible so I'm not really worried about it.
The really terrible things started happening when I got to Pennsylvania. See, I had planned to live in this in-law apartment four blocks away from campus. When I got to PA they informed me that their property had been put up for sale and that I could met on a month-to-month basis. I was like "Uhhhh....no" and began my trek as a hobo, bouncing first from Jess' apartment to Nicole's apartment, to Jason's couch, to finally getting a place with Carl and Damon! I'm back in the apartment complex I lived in with Katie last school year, but with each of us paying a third of the rent it works out to be a pretty good deal.
I started classes as a hobo, so getting into the swing of things has been pretty difficult. We're still moving in. Chris came this weekend to visit, which was good because this distance thing has been incredibly difficult for us both on top of all of this. He left today.
So, now you're all caught up!!! :)

The Sweet Escape
Let's see, I left ya'll off on Sunday?
Monday I don't remember anything, to be honest. I don't think I went out. I think I crashed at my friend's dorm room which is, oh yeah, back on my campus. Crazy much? Yes.
Tuesday, Carl and I drove around for much of the day and then decided to head down to Baltimore. We met up with Brendan -- who we discovered that night is my twin (not in the literal sense, but in the personality sense). For those keeping track that means we now have Tall Brendan and Twin Brendan. Anyways, Brendan was at his friend Frankie's house, and Derrick arrived shortly after us. We partied it up there and, I won't lie, somehow ended up just chilling around the house naaked. Eh, it happens. A lot with Frankie, actually. :-P
Anyways, I was laying across Frankie with my head in Derrick's lap (Derrick kept his pants on) and the boy got like jealous or something and left, and we kind of had this heated debate about it after that and I'll just say...I'm less endeared now. He's still cute, I'm just not sure he can handle me. I don't, I can't handle jealous fits.
I spent the night at Frankie's and then the next night....Twin Brendan, Frankie, and I went to a strip club in Baltimore called Spectrum. It wasn't atrocious...but it was pretty tragic. I counted twelve people other than the three of us there. Including their dancers.
They closed at midnight, and we returned to Casa di Frankie and we all crashed there that night as well.
I think if it hadn't been a Wednesday, it would have been much better. Or, at least, I hope so.
Thursday the three of us trekked down to Apex in D.C., which was alright, but not as good as some times I've been there. Okay, rephrase: the last Thursday I was there was better but it was a fairly average night for Apex.
I did run into my friend Alphonso just as we were leaving though, that was fun! Honestly, I can't remember where I crashed that night, but I am pretty sure it wasn't Frankie's.

I walked in, discussed some stuff with the Bossman and then introduced myself to Billy Brandt. I was a little afraid I offended him as I walked out shortly after -- it really wasn't that I was star struck (well, mildly), and it had nothing at all to do with him looking very little like his pictures (still really hot though!), but more to do with that Carl was going through the McDonald's drive-through in my car, without me being there.
Anyways, I went to leave without an autograph and I was actually stopped! Billy Brandt wanted to give me an autograph!! He was a sweetheart, and he even got very slightly flustered about my name. It was kinda cute. He first spelled it "Gram" and then wrote the "ham" over the m. He was all apologetic too.
So, now, the corrected autograph reads:
GrahamI gotta find out if he has a blog or a Myspace or something. He's a really great guy. People seem surprised by that, but of course since I've talked to three porn stars on the blogosphere (you guys know who you are, and I adore all of you!) I was really not surprised by the fact that he's more than just a sex symbol.
Great to meet you.
Love Billy Brandt

This group came on stage to do a live performance while a bunch of us were up there. Carl, Twin Brendan, and I decided to stay on stage because the performers said we could if we danced. So there we are, back up dancers to this group of phenomenal women rappers. Yeah, it was pretty fabulous.

After Sonar, we went to their friend Crystal's house where we hung out in her hot tub. Yes, naked. What fun are hot tubs when you wear anything in them, right? Of course right.
So, you're really only supposed to stay in a hot tub for an hour, tops. We were definitely in it for an hour and fifteen minutes. Oh well, shit happens and we're still pretty so it must be okay. :-P
Saturday, yesterday, was the biggest day. Carl and I returned to Pennsylvania and then split up. Carl stayed in that night (party pooper :-P) but not I. I headed up to Shimmer in Harrisburg. I'm not gonna lie, it was mostly to get my flirt on with the hot soda jerk who works there and who I was pretty sure was behind the counter that night. And, yeah, I was right, Josh was there and I chatted with him for most of the time I was there.
I meant to leave at 10:30 but my car wouldn't start, so I got a ride down to Club XS and worked. Twin Brendan joined the rest of us go go dancers. It was a little bit of a dull night, not a bad night just not exactly exciting. I had a lot of fun though. And it was cool because Billy Brandt came and was just partying like everyone else. So cool. Cooler still? He remembered me from my five minute adventure the night before. As he explained it to me: "I never forget a space. I forget names, but never faces." And then he proved it by describing our meeting the night before. I was very impressed.
When Twin Brendan and I got paid, you would think that would be the end of the night, but no. We were ending my spring break with a blast, so the trio of Twin Brendan, Frankie, and I made our way to an afterhours club called 1722 in Baltimore.
To my surprise I ran into my gorgeous friend Jeci there. It was pretty shocking, but quite cool. After Seventeen, we went to eat breakfast at this neat, eccentric and eclectic diner called Paper Moon. And then Brendan went homee and I crashed at Frankie's again.
Today, Frankie brought me back to my car and I spent the rest of the day trying to get it to start, until I gave up and called AAA. They towed it to a shop for me, and I will deal with it tomorrow.
But I am back on campus, and back to the regularity of my usual life. Except, once again, minus a car. We think it's the starter that died.
The one disappointment of this week, and it was definitely made up for by the fun I had, was that I didn't get to go to NYC. Or Memphis, but that idea was shortlived anyways.
(More pictures coming!!)

"Forbidden love, such a dangerous game"
So, the party started, as usual, on Thursday. We went to Club XS, as usual, and had a very typical night for there. Well, there was some drama I got to watch (which is the only time I ever enjoy drama, when I get to watch and not have anything to do with it! Yayyyy free entertainment!)
Now, Friday spring break started but I am spending spring break being spontaneous and letting loose, staying with different friends and so on and so forth. Soooo, I didn't know what I was going to do that night until my friend Carl called me and said "Hey, you want to go to Baltimore?" So Carl, Brendan, and I went to Baltimore to a club called Sonar. It was pretty nice, different, but nice. A lot of fun...and it's a mixed crowd so it's awesome to test out your gaydar there.
And I met a boy. *blushes* His name is Derrick. He doesn't really like gay clubs, so he says, but....well, I'll come back to that later.
Anywho, Carl went to spend the night at a friend of his' house (his friend, coincidentally, is also named Brendan). He claims nothing happened but cuddling. Derrick came back to my friend Brendan's house with me and we slept there. I know what you're thinking but we just cuddled and watched movies.
No, we really did. I'm not even using "gay code"* when I say we watched movies.
So, late yesterday afternoon Carl and I went back to Pennsylvania. We split up, and I went to McDonald's and grabbed some food. Then I went to Harrisburg and visited my friend's Chris and Matt who I haven't seen in forever. After that, I went to Shimmer (the 18+ club here in Harrisburg) and saw a bunch of my friends who I don't see very often. It was awesome, a great time. Brendan and Derrick showed up, which was exciting and cute, that Derrick came all the way from Annapolis to Harrisburg to a type of club he doesn't really like that much to see me.
After that, I left to go do my job dancing at Club XS. I picked up Matt (who I'd left at his house so he could shower) and then we went down to York. It was a decent night, there was a new dancer who is a lot of fun and his looks...lemme put it this way: he reminds me of Usher. Yeah.
The night went well, minimal incident. TONS of people. When I say TONS of people I mean, I parked at the McDonald's that's about a block away.
Brendan, Derrick, Josh and Cody showed up at XS later. I brought Cody back to his car in Harrisburg when I was driving Matt home.
Speaking of the drive home, I almost hit a dog. I'm just driving along and all of a sudden there's this German shepherd running at me. I screamed, swerved, and didn't hit it OR the middle barrier. I still had to pull over and calm down though. Scariest. Thing. Ever.
Anyways, back at Matt and Chris' place, we popped in Another Gay Movie and watched it. That was really funny. I don't know that it's really something to watch a lot but it was good. A nice spoof of American Pie. And then I passed out on their couch.
I don't have the slightest idea what I'm doing next. It's kind of exciting. :)
Oh, there should be pictures from Sonar and XS soon!!
*In the movie Eating Out, Jim Verraros' character tells his straight roomie that "watch a movie" is what gay men say they're going to do when they want to hook up. In my experience, this is true.

Do you remember back in the day when I started my weekend partying on Thursday nights? I am back at it!
Thursday night Carl, Cody, Jenny, David, and I made our way to Club XS for college night. It was not a particularly amazing night, but it was good. With a lot of drama on the side, which ew, but that's what happens when you mix boxed wine with three people in the back seat (I stayed sober, I was riding shotgun!)
(I'm hugging my friend Eric in that picture that Cody took.)
Then Friday happened. Friday was wonderful. You know why? Because I GOT MY CAR BACK!!!! FINALLY! Six weeks after my accident, I can finally drive again! And, oh boy, I did! I drove from Harrisburg back to cmapus and then out to the Park City Mall, and then back to campus and then to York where I met up with Cody, at which point he took over driving and took my car to Townson, Maryland. We met up with our friend Brendan and headed further south to Our friend Jason was working as a shotboy at Cobalt, but since I couldn't get in and most of our companions for the night had bailed on us, no one went to Cobalt to support him. We spent the whole night at Club Apex, where there were a few gorgeous people (and I made out with a girl, eh, it happens). Mostly they were ugly, but it's alright, it was still fun.
This afternoon I awoke in my bed (lord only knows how I made it upstairs and into my room. I only remember getting to the door of my dorm.) to discover my friend Melanie STANDING IN THE DOOR WAY! I had forgotten completely that she and I were planning to watch Saved! and so...we did. And all the special features on my DVD.
*exquisite is a word I 100% stole from Cody.

"I don't usually have to wait for nobody"

Ignoring the drama that continued and escalated from this weekend, which mainly was unimportant to how shitty these two days were except for that my friends are more nocturnal than I am so I am very sleep deprived...
...or I would be except that I slept through my only class today. Yeah, whoops. You know it's a bad semester when, three weeks in, you're already doing poorly academically.
To make matters worse, the guy who was driving the van I hit is absolutely not cooperating with my insurance company. I don't know if he simply has no redeeming social skills at all, or if he's playing some kind of a game and trying to get something. For the sake of my faith in humanity, I'm hoping it's the second. I'd rather think everyone has some degree of social skills and that people are manipulative and greedy than that someone can exist who is an utter failure at being nice to people ever.
On top of that, I utterly failed to get my car evaluated yesterday so I had to send my dear dear dear friend Katie to do it this morning. She stills owes me a massive favor as it is, from that time when she woke me up at 7 am. Apparently she had an entertaining conversation...
"So this guy must be your husband?"
"

"Oh, your fiancee!"
"I am *not* engaged!"
"Why are you wearing that ring?"
"Uh, I like jewelry..."
"Well, he must give good head."
(At this point she paused to try to figure out why my abilities at giving head would influence her to do anything for me...)
"Well, he has to be good at something because it sure ain't driving."
(We're still trying to figure out what my blowjob skills have to do with Katie.)
Anyways, he evaluated $2,400 to fix the damages on my car caused by the accident. Lord knows what the insurance company is going to pay the other guy.
I'm making a concerted effort to think the best of this poor old guy, I mean after all I was the one who hit him. It's not really my fault that he makes it so difficult to find any good qualities in his personality, is it?
So I pretty much called mom and gave her two days worth of freaking out and was all like "I can't do college! I need to drop out!" You know, saying those things all college students believe when they are stressed. And I'm still holding by all of those things -- I'm beginning to think college is not for me.
Moving on to the next event, I went and got HIV tested today. Now, I was 99.9% sure I was clean, but I was mainly going to give Carl moral support. His first test. (Our little boi is growing

Yay for good things!
Oh, another good thing? A friend of mine has my future husband Jim Verraros' phone number (well, business card)...and I recently (five minutes ago) discovered that he's single now. Oooh.
Hold on, Jim, I'm on my way to Hollywood! :-P
Yeah, I think I'm gonna stop there and just end on a good note. Ya'll don't need to know the rest of my day. :-P
