Beginning of (this) End

American Idol classic moments:
Chris (auditioner): "I've never kissed a girl."
Randy: "What? On purpose?"
LOVE IT!

So, classes have begun, starting my second semester of this school year. So yay! (Three semesters left, counting this one...)

They're actually rather entertaining, so far.
I am taking two theater courses. The first is the one we all dread -- it is the hardest theater course ever. And by hardest I mean, you actually have to do work. Lame.

The second is Acting II. I'm thrilled for this one. I haven't taking an acting class for a while, so I'm really gonna enjoy this.

I am taking a Comm course, which will be fun. It's all about graphic design and stuff -- not my thing, but should be fun anyways. We're supposed to blog about each class and what we did in them, so we had to set up Wordpress accounts. I kinda like Wordpress, actually.

I'm also taking a short stories class. This one probably won't be difficult, especially given this morning's class discussion about "To Build a Fire" by Jack London as we discussed dynamic and static characters...
(If you haven't read it, beware, I'm totally spoiling the end here!! You should stop reading here!!)

Me: "Well, he's clearly a dynamic character, he goes through some very major changes."
Prof: "Can you give some examples?"
Me: "To start with, he starts out alive and ends up, y'know, not alive."
Prof: "That's a very good insight."
I'm pretty sure she wasn't kidding, either.
