I like to keep this blog very shallow, all about me, myself, and (occasionally) eye candy basically.I also don't like to post more than once a day.
So understand that this post is not something to just sort of brush aside. This is absolutely appalling. I'm livid.
This is Oklahoma State Representative Sally Kern. And this is hate speech...
It reminds me of my dad, in a sense. When I first came out he was okay with it -- but didn't agree with the politics of my homosexuality. I incensed, I didn't consider it a political issue at the time. There was a difference between political issues and personal issues.
I've learned since then that there is no such divide.
If you're as outraged as I am by this clip, there are things you can do. Firstly, and most easily, you can add your name to this list. If you want to take a little more initiative, you can spread the word about this vile woman in your own blogs, Myspaces, web sites, etc.

It's sad that you don't know up from down.
Mmm, there's a lot of sadness in the world, isn't there? Just think how much money is going into my not knowing up from down -- college educations in this country, I'll tell ya.
